Here is a really creamy nut milk recipe to get you started:
Creamy Nut Milk
Equipment: Blender, Nut milk bag
Ingredients:
1 cup almonds soaked overnight
3 cups filtered water
1 tablespoon irish moss gel (see Irish Moss)
1 teaspoon agave nectar (or more to taste)
1 teaspoon coconut butter
Pinch of Himalayan Crystal Salt
1. Blend the nuts and water together then strain through a nut milk bag.
2. Rinse the blender then add the irish moss, agave, coconut butter, salt and one cup of the strained milk.
3. Blend on high until fully emulsified. Turning the speed to low, pour in the rest of the strained milk. Blend on high once more then pour into a container and store in the fridge for up to a week.
